Hemingray Glass Co. Dedication - Muncie, IN

On September 4th, 2011, exactly 123 years after moving to Muncie, IN The Hemingray Glass Co is dedicated as a historic landmark.

The Plaque and Ceremony was paid for by donations to the National Insulator Association. Bob Stahr, First Past President of the National Insulator Association (and fellow Hemingray collector) had a large part in getting this accomplished.

In attendance were about 30 people with a passion for Hemingray glass. Including 4 former Hemingray/ Owens Illinois employees.

Bob Stahr was the Master of ceremonies. A limited edition numbered (1 to 50) Commemorative 8 x 10 poster was given out to attendees (compliments of the National Insulator Association) 1-22 were given out. 23-43 were given to NIA Board and Committee Members. The other 7 will be given out at shows.
